Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our finance department. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a range of general clerical, accounting, and bookkeeping support functions to ensure accurate and timely financial records

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
Reconcile bank statements and financial reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain and update accounting records and files
Prepare and submit invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws
Perform data entry

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
1–3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Good math and data entry skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Work Environment:

Office setting with standard business hours

Salary Range: Based on work experience

Compensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
