Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and buses.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Document all repairs and maintenance performed accurately.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy-duty mechanics.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive repair preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavy-duty mechanic.
- Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems in heavy vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-focused demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
